Resolution Extension Mod

Overview:​

Resolution Extension is an experimental mod designed to facilitate the bypassing of game resolutions with ease. By accessing the provided TXT file located at:

\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Mods\Resolution Extension

users can conveniently adjust height and width settings within the ResolutionExtensions.XML file.

Usage:​

1. Navigate to the specified directory to access the Resolution Extension folder.

2. Open the ResolutionExtensions.XML file using a text editor.

3. Modify the height and width parameters according to your preferences.

4. Save the changes and close the file.

5. Restart the game to apply the new resolution settings.

6. Click "APPLY" within the game settings for the changes to take effect.

Note: Currently, the mod only functions in Windowed mode, as it forcibly switches the game to this mode.

Troubleshooting:​

In some cases, clicking the "Apply" button within the game settings may be required to generate the necessary file.

Reset the resolution in cases where the selected resolution was invalid:

Create a new file called ".reset" and place it in the Resolution Extension folder.

Installation:​

The installation process is automatic. Upon installation, a tab labeled 'Resolution Extension' will appear in the game settings.
